There is no Peter Pan

Only the big, bad, scary world

Filled with big, bad, scary things

Which you, so suddenly and all at once alone, must face

Left the nursery before enough time had passed

There was no man in the moon

And no boy was coming to whisk you away

It’s dark out there

Cold and lonely

But nobody cares

They’ve all lost the spark

Because like you, they all know too well

There’s no Neverland
